Rachel’s Vineyard Retreats—What to Expect
The Retreat offers a safe, confidential, and supportive place for anyone whose life has been touched by abortion. The loss of a pregnancy through abortion brings a grief like no other. The retreat team will walk with you through your journey of loss, hope and healing. Whether your experience is recent or many years ago, you are welcome.

Retreat Structure and Setting
The retreat takes place over a weekend, beginning Friday afternoon and finishing Sunday afternoon. Retreats are held in a private, peaceful setting and the everything discussed on the retreat is strictly confidential. The retreat programme includes guided reflections and allows time for each participant to share as much as they are comfortable with.

Practical Details
Once you have made an enquiry, the Retreat Coordinator (a counsellor) will contact you to talk through whether a Retreat is right for you. If it is, you will be supported through each step until the Retreat—and for a time afterwards. Retreat accommodation and all meals are provided. You will need to plan to arrive at the Retreat Centre by mid-afternoon on Friday. Your room will be ready for you and the Retreat Team will be on hand to help you settle in.

Making an enquiry
All enquires are confidential. We will ask you to let us know how you wish to be contacted and when would be a suitable time to talk. You may have lots of questions—or only a few. There are many pathways that lead people to Retreat—everyone has their own story. It is a privilege to make this journey with you.
